I’m going to this on 16 October. I think it will be interesting. I’m looking forward to hearing the main speakers’ ideas, and finding out what is happening in the UK regarding new media and the church.

I’m also presenting a short paper during the afternoon. It’s the first time that my PhD project is being aired in public, and not only that, it’s being aired in a theological context rather than an information science world. I’m hoping for ideas and feedback on the assumptions I am making about the church world. I’ve produced a summary of where I am so far with the project  – CNM Handout – and I’ll post my presentation slide deck here too shortly. I had good intentions of getting the hang of Prezi, what with all the great guidance there is out there, but unfortunately real life, the day job and the preparation for Internet Librarian International intervened. Better a decent powerpoint than a half-baked Prezi, I reckon.

Conference hashtag is #cnmac10,  if you follow me on Twitter and wonder that that is all about, tweeting something other than football results on a Saturday.
